This one is not really a Psot, it is rather a trail to see what a Psot would look like. But - we will use that very initial opportunity to tell u, whoever u r, why we created the HaimoBlog and what u should expect to encounter here if u pay us a browse once in a while...
We are Israelis, ordinary family, I guess, with a small and quite humble dream. It might be a very common one, and we don't claim any originality here. However, we will make it come through. We hope. Well.. we quite sure at this time (touch wood, Ham'sa-Ham'sa, Tfu Tfu Tfu..).
A dream? yepp! a dream: in a year+ or so, we will be taking a break in our life, we'll jump off the train and get ourselves together for a family tour. We plan to go to New Zealand ("NZ" herein after..) and we will stuck ourselves into a yet-to-b-decided (TBD) vehicle, for a TBD amount of time. Nothing firm as you may realize... only we want to be together, away, and with no commitments whatsoever...
So, - we've created the HaimoBlog to plan our trip, to document it (expect heavy linkage to Flickr or alike), to share, to memorize, and maybe to find our soul mates (or anybody that might find this interesting/useful).
Some guide lines:
- Each family member may write a Post. Expect different language, different styles, emphasis, topics, perspectives and spelling mistakes.
- We may try to write in Hebrew and English . Talia n me may write sometimes in Hebrew and Ido n Ophir r more comfortable in English. Shira will draw. We shall mark in each Post's title with the initial of the writer - M for Taila, D for me, O for Ophir, I for Ido and S for Shira, and undersign, ofcourse...
- No more guide line. We shall keep it simple...
We will soon share thoughts, feelings, plans, practical preparations and philosophical reflections.
