Gold Coast, 26.8.08

Gold Coast, Tuesday 26th of August
Sup dogs?
Ido’s in the house.
Wow I’ve got a lot to say.
Gold Coast was amazing. We went to the water park called Wet ‘n’ Wild. Its slogan is:
‘Biggest ‘n’ Best’, because it’s known as the world’s biggest and best water park. And it was. It’s huge! The first thing we did was a slide called Speed coaster. Its for 2 people to do on a tube and its really fast. At first Shira was scared to do anything. But then she got over it and did just about every ride that she was tall enough to do. Here’s a list of the things we did.

The green room – Four different closed, green slides at a very steep angle.
Ular-lah – just a big tube for 6 people to go down a huge slide. (Kinda boring!)
Aqua racer – They give you this soft, spongy sled and you go down a really fun slide. (8 can do it at a time so you can race!)
The Twister – two slide that twist around each other. (Very steep)
The black hole- I bet you can already guess that this is a steep, pitch black slide. It’s on a tube for two people and there are little fairy lights every once in a while.
( No name) – Just a slide on a tube for two people. It’s pretty fun.
Lunch – This ride has the longest line. Shira and I had chicken drumsticks, Ophir had a burger and dad ate the remainders.
Tornado - (My personal favorite.) On a tube for four, you enter the slide, then you turn and you start falling at a 75% angle. You’re launched into this huge round thingy the shape of a slanted tornado and you start going from side to side. At first Ophir was scared to do it so dad and I did it. But when we started falling I was facing backwards as if somebody was pushing me off a cliff and it was so scary, but still so god damn fun. Then Ophir decided to do it with us. So we did it the three of us again. It was so fun, me and Ophir did it again just us two.

Shira did every thing here accept The Twister and Tornado. But she was really brave. And the best part was the last thing we did was called the Whirlpool. It wasn’t really a whirlpool, it was Jacuzzis. And boy were they hot. You could burn yourself in them.
Wow. I liked it. A lot. :-)
